Examining Global Healthcare

My family never thought healthcare would be an issue. 3,000 miles away, international healthcare

I was born internationally and arrived in the U.S at 4 years old with 14 countries in my passport. My whole life, I have been fortunate enough to travel around the world. I have experienced many different cultures, cuisines, and excursions around the world. Healthcare systems never crossed my mind, until they had to.

Last Christmas break, in December of 2024, I was surfing in the Galapagos with my family when my dad sustained a L2 to L4 vertebral fracture in the water. International healthcare suddenly became an interest I was passionate about.

Researching the cost, efficacy, and availability of healthcare around the world and gathering first-hand accounts of international medical experiences by travelers is what I am using this platform to consider. This website will provide a review of the current state of healthcare in various countries and highlight the organizations that are working to improve their systems.
